Christian Medical Missions Resources Foundation

Christian Missions Resource Foundation was born in 1991 as a hospital prayer group under the inspiration of Gp Capt. (Dr.) Sam Annankra. It is a registered non-profit Christian NGO set up to advance the cause of Christ and to provide relief to persons in conditions of need, hardship or distress. The organization engages in Medical Missions and other charitable activities that are beneficial to disadvantaged communities – the main focus areas are Health, Education and Poverty reduction.

CMRF has over 200 volunteer physicians, nurses, pharmacists and lay people in Ghana who volunteer their time to go on medical missions 12 times a year to give free medical care and medications, sometimes in partnership with teams from the US. CMRF is also involved in other projects such as drip irrigation, scholarships for impoverished children, health education, leadership development, medical donations, provision of educational materials for impoverished schools, provision of potable drinking water and training missionaries. CMRF also train other medical mission teams such as Encounter Uganda to work in other countries.

We accept the revelation of the triune God given in the Bible and confess the historic faith of the Gospel therein set forth. We regard the following doctrines as crucial to the understanding of our faith and should issue in mutual love, practical Christian service and evangelistic concern.

The sovereignty and grace of God the Father, God the Son and God the Holy Spirit in creation, providence, revelation, redemption and final judgment

The divine inspiration of the Holy Scriptures and it’s consequent entire trustworthiness and supreme authority in all matters of faith and conduct.

The universal sinfulness and guilt of fallen man, making him subject to God’s wrath and condemnation.

The substitutionary sacrifice of the incarnate Son of God as the sole and all-sufficient ground of redemption from the guilt and power of sin and from it’s eternal consequences.

The justification of sinners solely by the grace of God through faith in Christ crucified and risen from the dead.

The illuminating, regenerating, indwelling and sanctifying work of the Holy Spirit.

The Priesthood of all believers, who form the Universal Church, the Body of Christ, which, is committed by His command to the proclamation of the gospel throughout the world.

The expectation of the personal, visible return of the Lord Jesus Christ in Power and Glory.
